Dog Cremation in Geelong

Geelong dogs live between the Barwon and the back beaches: winter runs at Torquay when the crowds go home, Bellarine rail-trail Sundays. We collect from Geelong, the Bellarine and the Surf Coast on runs from our Melbourne operation.

A gentle handover at the door

Every breed, every size, one chamber each

From a 3kg chihuahua to an 80kg Dane, the rule never changes: your dog is cremated alone, with a stainless ID tag assigned at your Geelong door and verified before and after by two staff. The tag number reaches your phone by SMS before we leave.

Ashes come home within 5 working days in a hand-turned timber urn sized to your dog, with the signed certificate and the collar. Prints must be requested at booking because they are taken before cremation.

We cover Geelong, Torquay, Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads, Lara and surrounds, collecting from homes and from every vet clinic in the area on regular runs.

The goodbye at home

Take the time you need before you call. When you are ready, we come to you in an unmarked vehicle, and you can carry them out with us or say goodbye at the door. Both are normal.

If they're at the vet

Tell the clinic "Pet Farewell will collect" and we handle the rest, including after-hours emergency clinics. Ashes can return to the clinic or your door.

Dog cremation in Geelong, answered.

Can you cremate large dogs in Geelong?

Yes, up to 80kg: Great Danes, Rotties, wolfhounds, big farm mixes. Larger dogs need a longer chamber cycle, which is reflected in the weight-based price, never a shortcut in the process. One dog, one chamber, whatever the size.

How much ash comes back from a dog?

As a rough guide, about one cup per 10kg of body weight. A kelpie returns roughly three cups, a labrador four to five. We size the urn to your dog so it never feels wrong, and we'll tell you what to expect on the phone.

How quickly can you collect a dog in Geelong?

Same-day across Geelong when you call before 4pm, usually within 2 hours in metro areas. Large dogs are no different; our collection vehicles and stretchers handle every size with dignity.

Can I keep his collar and get a paw print?

The collar always comes home with the ashes, along with any blanket or toy collected with your dog. Clay or ink paw prints are taken before cremation if you ask at booking; big paws print beautifully.

What does dog cremation cost here?

Individual cremation with ashes returned starts at $480 and scales with weight. Communal (ashes not returned) from $280. Call with the breed or rough weight and we will give you the exact Geelong figure in one minute.
